Building on strong foundations
Now
in it's 13th year, GeoSolutions 2004 is Europe's leading event
for professionals looking for business solutions through Geographic
Information. Providing a single focus for the industry the
event is the UK's leading educational and business forum,
attracting visitors from a diversity of markets.
Formerly
GIS, the show was renamed in 2002 to GeoSolutions. This change
more accurately describes the overall event - a name that
is accessible to a wider community, and reflects the markets
focus on solutions rather than technology. It is also a
name
that does justice to the show's breadth of vendors, visitors
and educational content.
2004
will also be a year for further show developments with GeoSolutions
going back home to Birmingham to the NEC. This move
was announced in 2003 following results from both visitors
and exhibitors in a large scale on-line survey.
Also,
as a result of this survey, the show will run over two days
rather than three days to offer both visitors and exhibitors
better results for the amount of time out of the office.
GeoSolutions
aims
Our aim remains to deliver a spatial information
management event that provides a strong representation of
new and existing users across the key market sectors, including:
government, utilities, emergency services, telecoms, marketing,
property, retail, and general business management.
We are constantly working towards developing
GeoSolutions and broadening its appeal to attract even more
users and new companies, particularly from the emerging markets. |
